Update:
Work is boring as hell, but pays too well to abandon it.
Damn glad no more finals, and no more classes.
1 week 6 days before I leave for Charlotte.
Grades were good enough for me.

I've had nothing to do of any merit the past few weeks, hence the lack of updates. My application to Huddleston and Bolen LLP went through, and as of May 8th, I'll be working in...of all places...a lawyers office. I never thought that day would come. The job consists of scanning pieces of mail into computers from 9 to 5 Monday through Friday at 9.00 an hour, so that's good. Bad part, I have to dress-up somewhat.
Dr. Meadows has been out because of illness, and so it had been very hard trying to keep track of everything for final. Supposedly Dr. Mills is supposed to finish the 103 course for us, with someone else doing duty for the Modern China course. I'll be so damn glad when this semester is over, my whole philosophy for Dr. Meadow's course (i.e. study tactics) has now pretty much been forced to change. I don't like change, that is one of my biggest aggrivations.
German, I'm starting to slowly dig myself out of a hole. Art is a damn annoyance, she is making us do a paper now which was not in the original syllabus. More damn work with 18 class days left, what the fuck is new...it's my life.
Finally got to dig my cacti out of my uncle's upstairs, where I store them to get light during the winter, so I've been working with them as well as planting a garden and a strawberry patch. I love warm weather, damn winter kills me. I cannot stand to be cooped up all winter like a damn hermit.
Charlotte is approaching very quickly now, just over a month of a way. I'll be so damn glad to get my vacation, to see a great race, and to hang out with friends for 5 days. I have tons of cars I want to get, primarily Denny Hamlin, J.J. Yeley, Greg Biffle and Tony Stewart stuff. I'll also be glad to go to the Concord Mills Mall and drive the big 50 HP gocarts around the 1/18th of a mile track set up outside the NASCAR experience in the mall. Last year I started in last, and found out pretty quickly how fast the cars really were and I found a better groove up in the turns, allowing me to finish 2nd. So this time I will exploit it to the fullest, and hopefully win. Last year I put on a show in Virginia Beach on the world of outlaw dirt karts, leading every lap of a 30 lap event. I want to repeat that success on the larger scale.

My Condolences to the family of Paul Dana, Indy Car Rookie who was killed in probably the most vicious hit I've ever seen in racing. He was killed in practice this morning, before the race. The other driver hurt in the hit is in stable condition. Out of respect, Dana's team and teammates was pulled from the race, including Danica Patrick.
Paul Dana was 30 years old.

Big surprise there, I've always said I'm closer to satanism than any other religion. I don't see how it came up with modern satanist, I'd be more of a traditional satanist. Traditionalists are more concerned with the advancement of one's self. Not advancement through a religious base formula. |
